With more than four decades of accumulated expertise in hydrodynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and naval architecture, we believe that knowledge should be actively shared to drive innovation across the industry.
The science of sailing
Our founder, Peter van Oossanen, has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding of sailing yacht performance.
This culminated in his book, The Science of Sailing, which explores the fundamental physics behind sailing yacht design in a clear and structured way.
The book reflects both academic rigour and practical insight, making it a valuable resource for designers, engineers and sailing enthusiasts alike.
