Galactica Super Nova justifiably won both the World Superyacht and Showboats Awards in 2017 in the categories for Semi-Displacement and Planing Motor Yachts over 50m.
This was quite a feat of design engineering – effectively she’s two boats in one with her all-aluminium Full Displacement Hull Form (FDHF): a 20-knot displacement hull and a 30-knot semi-displacement hull courtesy of a booster engine and waterjet.
