Naval Architecture

Naval architecture is at the heart of our business, and hydrodynamics is at the core of our expertise.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Our advanced CFD capabilities allow us to simulate and analyse resistance, propulsion efficiency, wake patterns and vessel motions with high accuracy. In many cases, CFD now provides results better than traditional tank testing, while offering greater flexibility and faster iteration.

By applying CFD early in the design process, we reduce uncertainty, minimise risk and enable informed decision-making. This leads to better-performing vessels, shorter development cycles and more efficient use of resources.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Our advanced FEA capabilities allow us to augment pragmatic engineering decisions. Whether the goal is weight reduction, risk limitation, or increased stiffness, simulation provides industry accepted confirmation of structural response. 

Marine Engineering
